Family, food and festive drinks are the 3 F’s that grab everyone’s attention at this time of the year. The main focus often tends to be on the food, but needless to say, no Christmas get-together is really complete without a cocktail to really get everyone in the merry spirit.
If you’re planning on hosting a Christmas party this year, you’ll no doubt want to impress your guests with this boozy beverage. Brimming with festive, warm flavours, this drink is “Merry Christmas” in cocktail form.
You will need:
25ml spiced rum
50ml mulled wine
Spiced Ginger Beer
A chilled, short glass
Ice
Garnish of choice – a cinnamon stick, cranberries/mixed red berries, dehydrated orange slice are a few suggestions.
Method:
Add the ice cubes of ice to a chilled glass, and cover with 25ml of spiced rum.
Pour in the mulled wine, and top up with the spiced ginger beer.
Finally, embellish accordingly with any festive garnish of your choice.
